Meet Dr Ali
I am the principal GP here at Dr Rashid Ali's Surgery!
After qualifying in 2003, I moved to London to start life as a Junior Doctor. Throughout my jobs in numerous London teaching hospitals, I have had extensive exposure and hands-on involvement across a full scope of specialities, including, Trauma and Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and General Practice.
It was this huge variety that first piqued my interest in general practice, and working as a GP during my time as a junior doctor sealed the decision for me.
As a GP, I see people of all ages and gender, with any and every ailment and I am a firm believer in treating the person, not just the symptoms. I always strive to make my patients feel comfortable enough to discuss all their concerns, no matter how big or small. Doing so allows me to make sure you all get the care you need and deserve.
I am a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and currently undergoing a Diploma of Gerontology (Care of Elderly Medicine) I also have a special interest in MSK, Sport's Medicine and Minor Surgery.
I look forward to helping you all live a healthier lifestyle!
